The Trust Board, led by a Chairman, is made up of Executive and Non Executive Directors.

The Executive Directors are responsible for the operational management and development of the Trust. The Non Executive Directors are members of the general public who are appointed to the Board because they bring specific qualities and experience relevant to the NHS. They are local people who live within the catchment area of the Trust and were appointed by the Secretary of State for Wales (this would now fall to the First Minister of the National Assembly for Wales).
