Aural Rehabilitation
The department offers a full range of Audiology rehabilitation to help patients with hearing and balance difficulties. If you are an adult, our rehabilitation services will focus on the skills needed to adjust to your hearing loss, how to get the most out of your hearing aids, exploring assistive listening devices that might help you and taking charge of your communication.
How to Access our Services
Patient's who suspect they may have a hearing problem should consult their family doctor. Patient's over 50 years, can be referred directly to the department for hearing aid provision. Those under 50 years will be referred to an ENT consultant, who will perform an assessment and refer on to Audiology for rehabilitation where appropriate.
